Yoga for Organizers

As we head into pivotal midterm elections later this year, it’s so important for us as organizers and advocates to have the tools we need to master stress and bring our best selves to the movement. Equality Lobby Day is just three weeks away! So to help you prepare, we’ll be hosting a training and policy briefing on the evening of February 17. Each year, Equality Lobby Day is our biggest opportunity for face-to-face communication between members of the Arizona legislature and LGBTQ+ communities across the state. Divisive and discriminatory bills flourish because they are able to exacerbate and exploit division, which is why it’s so important to sit down, person-to-person, and seek understanding. This year we’re piloting a hybrid approach; with covid risks still a concern, we wanted to find a way to get back to the capitol without leaving anyone behind. Whether you attend online or in-person, you’ll have access to the same meetings and activities. Register today for the training and event!
